History Of Mozilla firefox

The Mozilla Firefox project was created by Dave Hyatt and Blake Ross as an experimental of the Mozilla project. Firefox 1.0 was released on November 9, 2004.

Because it is pressured from the Fire bird Community another change, and on 9 February, 2004 the project mozilla has a new name called Mozilla Firefox.

The name of "Firefox" was chosen because its similarity to "Firebird" name, also for its uniqueness in the computing industry. Then to ensure that no further name changes would be necessary, the Mozilla Foundation then process of Firefox Trademark at the United States Patent (USA) and Trademark of Office in December 2003.

The animal image in the logo Firefox is a stylized fox, "firefox" is considered to be a name for the Red Panda. Red pandas looks like raccoons because their closest relative - the giant panda.
